Carter Millward competed in NZ U17 Waterskiing Team

Carter Millward

Carter Millward competed in the Waterskiing U17 NZ Team Junior Worlds Tournament in Canada earlier this month. In the event, there were 21 countries competing both individually and collectively as a team in the slalom, trick and jump events. The New Zealand team finished a fantastic 9th overall. Congratulations, Carter!

Liam Hill has qualified to participate in the New Zealand Under19 Golf Championship. It is several years since St Pau's has had a representative in this competition. Liam has moved from a 17 handicap to scratch in just two years. Good luck at the competition Liam.

Aidan Hodgson completing international SAT Examinations

Aidan Hodgson is completing his international SAT Examinations as one of the components to be considered for USA university. Aidan scored some incredible results, landing him in the top 99th percentile from 5.2 million other students. That's amazing, Aidian; we wish you all the best in your future academic endeavors.

Aidan Hodgson represents Waikato-County Basketball Team

Aidan Hodgson plays in Waikato Country Basketball Team

Congratulations to Aidan Hodgson who represented the Waikato-County Basketball Association U18 Team at the national tournament in July. The team won four games which placed them 15th in the country for their age group.

Lo Carb has made it to the Top Ten Finalists for SmokeFreeRockQuest, New Zealand's premier live, original music competition. Congratulations to Asher Downing, Jackson Norris, Finlay Bayne, and Liam Fairweather. They will be performing at SkyCity Theatre on 21 September—best of luck.

Congratulations to three St Paul's sporting stars who have made it into a national team. Congratulations to Gracie Potter (Year 13) and Richard Ruetsch (Year 13) for being selected for the U18 Future Black Sticks teams, and to Caitlin Foote (Year 12) for making the NZ Women's 17&U Water Polo team.
