Three music students receive Distinction in ABRSM exams
Thursday 23 June saw Jackson Mackwood (Year 12), Ned Seath (Year 12), and Nish Wood (Year 9) sit their Grade 5 Music Theory exam.
Since Covid, ABRSM has put Grades 1-5 online as a multi-choice exam rather than the traditional paper-based exam. While there are benefits to this, one must be careful not to fall into a trick of the examiners and select the incorrect answer.
All three young men did extremely well – all gaining Distinction which is a minimum of 87%. They should all be incredibly proud of their achievements, and with their ambition, they’ll be tackling Grade 8 in no time!
