Seniors win Waikato regional Get2Go Challenge

Gold for our St Paul's/Waikato Diocesan junior adventure racing team! On Tuesday 9 August, St Paul's had two adventure racing teams compete at the Waikato regional Get2Go Challenge around Lake Karapiro. 

The teams raced in a series of mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and navigation events against 30 other top teams from the region. 

Congratulations to our A team consisting of George Benjamin (Year 9), Caleb Blake (Year 9), George MacDonald (Year 10), and Tyler Threthaway (Year 9) and their Waikato Diocesan School for Girls teammates, Scarlett Munro, Georgia Roberts, Georgia Treblico, and Caitlyn Wright on their win!

Our B team also wowed on the course, coming in fifth overall. Congratulations to Blake Buchanan (Year 10), Kahn Heath (Year 9), Leo Neilsen (Year 9), and Andre Settle (Year 9), alongside the Waikato Dio girls. 

 Our winning team will represent Waikato in the 5-day National Final on Great Barrier Island in December.
