Waikato Swimming Championships
Thursday 30 May saw the regional swimming championship kick off at Waterworld. The day was split into two sessions, with heats and timed finals in the first, and finals along with relays in the second.
The 35-strong swimming squad competed against rival schools, representing our school with pride and exceptional mana.

The day ended with strong performances from the relay teams. Our senior girls secured a 1st place finish in the 100 IM and a 2nd place finish in the 100 Free. Our senior boys achieved 2nd place in both the 100 IM and 100 Free.
Overall, these excellent performances from the squad earned St Paul’s a regional 2nd place behind Hamilton Boys' High School. Well done to the squad, and we look forward to their performances at Nationals in July.
