Moments from Fieldays

We enjoyed meeting many current and future St Paul's parents and Collegians at Fieldays. Our students engaged with visitors at the school stand, discussing what they have learned in Agribusiness and offering free honey tastings from our beehives. Thank you to the students for giving up their time: Liam Inman, Nikau Veitch, Austen Plimmer, Renee Carey, and Lily Luxton.

We were also proudly represented at the Innovation Hub at Fieldays with two student groups participating in 'Young Innovator of the Year.'

Mariska Pereira and Briar Roden showed off their 'Clean Milk Catcher' innovation, a tool designed to catch suspected mastitis milk in a sterile pot.

'Kiwi Beam Solutions' inventors Liam Fisher and Ollie Robertson presented their Ag Beam lifter which eases heavy lifting in the kiwifruit orchard industry.

Although they didn't take home any prizes on the day, they received plenty of interest from key industry players. We wish them well with their inventions and hope to see their products in the future.
