Matthew Chanwai competing on national stage with Gedalge Trio

After placing second at the northern regional finals of the NZCT Chamber Music Contest, Matthew Chanwai (Year 12) and his group, Gedalge Trio, are among just eight finalists selected to compete in the national competition. The Gedalge Trio is comprised of Matthew on the cello, Audrey Guo from Westlake Girls High School on the piano, and Lorna Zhang from Macleans College on the violin. The national final will take place at the Auckland Town Hall on Saturday 6 August.
