Colts winter sport success

Two sporting codes played by the Colts Development rugby team this season has seen some outstanding successes as the season draws to a close, with play offs in the coming weeks.   

The Colts remain unbeaten this season in the Waikato competition and Saturday 30 July saw an impressive win over St John's College with a 17-12 final score.  Tomorrow they take on Hamilton Boys' High School before a guaranteed semi final, the weekend of Saturday 13 August.  Good luck boys! 

To keep fitness at a premium (and a bit of fun) a bunch of the Colts rugby team tried their hand at hockey this year.  Fair to say it wasn't pretty at the start of the season but thanks for a couple of seasoned hockey players already in the side, has showed great character and competitiveness.  Having lost their first game 16-0, they have improved dramatically to win every game since with the exception to their rival the A team, a 0-4 loss.  The video below shows both teams post the game, terrible weather conditions but great friendships being formed.
