Year 9 Market Day
Another beautiful day as our Year 9 Commerce students brought their ideas to market.
With the sun taking the Autumn chill out of the air, an enthusiastic cohort of Year 9 students set up their stalls selling various items as part of their commerce class. Products were varied, colourful, and creative.
Students were tasked with creating product ideas, production, marketing collateral, and sales pitches to support the process. All products were reasonably priced to suit the target audience (St Peter's students and staff). As a result we saw tie-dyed socks, beaded jewellery, painted mugs, frames, vinyl records, croc jibbetz, and soaps for Mother's Day promotions among other goodies on offer.
The vibe was one of excitement as students bargained with each other, taking orders and closing sales.
