Stunning results from NZ Secondary Schools Track, Field and Road Championships

St Peter's CambridgeDecember 11, 2023

A team of 35 athletes travelled to Christchurch recently to compete across a range of events, producing excellent results.

St Peter's athletes competed across sprints, middle distance, throws, jumps, hurdles, relays and road races with some fantastic results achieved.

With more than 40 personal best performances across multiple rounds of qualifying, the team were able to transfer their training, event plans and resilience in a range of weather conditions over the three days.

This championships is one of the largest secondary school sporting events held each year, and our students demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship, leadership and compassion as they navigated challenges along the way.
