This week, two of our students explored trades training at a "Girls in Trades Day" at Invercargill.

Tori Pont and Grace Milliken, along with a large cohort from Maruawai College, went down to Invercargill and spent a day with a variety of trades people which included a speed networking event.  Then it was off to a practical hands-on programme at a variety of trades, including building, tiling, contracting and mechanics.  Both students had a great day and learnt about the depth of trades available to them.
