On Wednesday we welcomed our 14 new students and two new teachers to our school family. Jessie, Joel, Fernando and Akuino lead our mihi whakatau and spoke in Mandarin, Malayalam, Spanish and Samoan. 

We then took the opportunity to present St. Teresa's Way:

 "St. Teresa’s is a loving, faith filled community, where everyone is valued and respected as a whole person." 

This is how we will be aiming to be both at school and in the world. Always in our mind will be "What would Jesus do?"

Miss O'Driscoll was blown away by our haka, it was the first one she has ever seen...wait until she sees what we do for our culture festival!
