There are three very important Sundays in June- Pentecost, Trinity and Corpus Christi.
This weekend is the celebration of Corpus Christi- which signifies the body and blood of Christ, the presence of Christ in communion.
This Sunday the All Saints Youth group, Aquinas students and children from St.Thomas More are combining to celebrate Mass with Father Matt.
Our school has created four posters which will be carried in procession. We are hoping that every family will try to come to Mass this weekend to show support of our special character - our values, our beliefs which make us a school family.
Mass begins at 10.00 a.m. The music and singing will be led by the Youth group and Aquinas singers.
Last week many of our school families attended Trinity Sunday to celebrate the confirmation and first holy communion for our young people.
Trinity Sunday recognizes God three in One - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Two weekends ago we gathered for Pentecost Sunday - the birthday of the Christian church.
Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to the disciples and followers of Jesus Christ - to be with them in their mission of sharing the good news.
We hope that our school continues to be filled with the Holy Spirit as we learn and grow in faith.
