Miss Aindow is a fully registered teacher after two years of professional learning and classroom responsibility.

When teachers come out of university or teachers' college to their first teaching job they are full of enthusiasm, a bit anxious, with plenty of theory and not a lot of classroom experience - it is up to their school colleagues to continue their learning for the next two years.

After completing two years of full time classroom practice, extra professional development as well as opportunities to grow their interests and passions there comes a time when the principal makes the decision to approve registration and their application is presented to the Teachers Council.

We are very pleased to announce that Miss Sophie Aindow is a fully registered teacher. Ms Kath Fielden has been Sophie's mentor teacher this year and we'd like to acknowledge the professional support she has provided.

Next year Miss Aindow will be teaching Year 5 - 6; Mrs Thomas will be teaching Year 4 - 5; Mrs Foster will be teaching Year 2 - 3; Mrs Duncan will be teaching Year 0-2.

Ms Fielden is taking 2025 for maternity leave and will return in 2026.
