There are lots of dates and times to remember.

Kath Joblin —

The Year 5 and 6 students leave for camp on Tuesday next week. Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to support our campers over the week. We can't do it without you.

Wednesday is going to be wet and wild. Miss Fielden is organising fun activities for everyone with a wet and wild theme.

Thursday Miss Joblin is leading a tsunami hikoi with Year 4 and Mrs McHugh - we're heading for the highest point of refuge in the area as well as learning about important landmarks, the compass and narratives from our Ngai Te Rangi and Nga Potiki iwi.

Also Pipi are travelling to Tauranga Girls' College to enjoy the annual performing arts extravaganza led by Year 9 students.

Friday the Fire Brigade is bringing a fire engine to school - provided there isn't a call out. Then in the afternoon the campers return.

Thursday December 7th Disco 5.30pm-7pm at the Parish Lounge. Cost: Free, but we will be selling lollies, chips and glowsticks so cash is advised. Bring: water bottles, dancing shoes and Christmas dress up!

Friday 8th December the whole school will be involved in an outdoor concert starting at 1 o'clock. Everyone will have a starring role - audience included. Look out for your invitation. Year 1-3 will also receive their head, heart and hands awards for the year.

On Thursday 14th December our Paua team will gather for the final Mass at 6.15 p.m. at our church. Then there will be the Year 4-6 prizegiving, the farewell to Year 6 (blessing of the crosses) and a special celebration for Mr Webster who is retiring from teaching on December 15th.

If you know of ex-pupils or family members who would like to acknowledge Mr Webster ( and his 15 year contribution to our school community) please come to the fingerfood buffet and cake cutting in the parish lounge directly after the last Mass on the 14th December.
