We are so excited to announce the head boy and head girl of Aquinas College for 2022. Jude Farrell ( Emmett and Pedro's big brother) and Tiana ( niece of Mrs Thomas) are the perfect choice for this service orientated role.

Tiana and Jude both have families who are strong in the faith. They are part of our All saints by the sea parish and Jude is helping Father Matt with establishing the STM Youth Group this summer.

Tiana and Jude are proud members of Aquinas kapa haka and are studying te reo Maori.

Both were recognized for their achievement in religious education.

It was wonderful watching the Year 12 students perform a haka when Tiana and Jude were named as head students and to see Jude haka back. It made more than one person cry.

To be named as head students there is a serious process which is followed including making a speech to teachers and students about what being head student would mean and why they want to represent Aquinas College. Students vote and so do the staff. We all know that Tiana and Jude will be very caring, enthusiastic and conscientious head students next year - just as they have been this year. Congratulations to you both.
