We have two Year 5+6 teams entered into the Kahui Ako competition which includes five Catholic schools.

You may remember from a previous newsletter that our school really enjoys the challenge of EPRO8 ( engineering, problem solving, scratch, and construction).

Cooney, Lees and Morgan have donated 50% of an EPRO8 kit and we are looking for another interested company (from the Mums and Dads) to cover the remainder which is $350. Thank you to Natalie Fleming for making the request to her work to support us in this project.

Next Friday two of our teams will be competing again Suzanne Aubert School, St Michael's Rotorua, St Mary's Putaruru and St Mary's Rotorua.

We'd like to thank Aquinas College for generously lending us five kits so that everyone in the Year 5-6 class were able to try out for the participating teams.

Last year our team came first in the competition - no pressure.
