Thanks for all of your support with our events this year. We really appreciate our school families getting behind the activities we plan and the fundraising we have done is supporting extras for our tamariki to enjoy.

 In the last few months, we have made donations for some new sports equipment for the school and for some additional resources to support our learning curriculum. 

We are planning a new addition to the playground area to be installed in the Summer holidays and will also be providing ice blocks tomorrow at athletics day, we've paid for parents to attend the school camp in November and we're helping to fund the new mural Kath has commissioned for our office building.

 It has been a challenging year for us all with Covid related uncertainty, and we have sadly had to postpone our Quiz Night until Term 1 of 2022 to make sure we can all have the best night possible and get as many of our community together as possible. Look out for more details next year.

However, we have two very exciting events coming up this term.....The Knowledgeathon is coming very soon! Every year our children participate in a fundraising Knowledgeathon to test their memory skills, learn some new facts and enjoy some competition between each other. It is always a fun event and a great fundraiser for the school because grandies and parishioners get behind it too. Your children will be coming home this week with the questions and answers they will need to memorize, as well as their sponsorship forms.

 There are more questions for the older children and less for our little Pipis. Teachers and senior students will be busy testing on the 5th November with prizes for the winners in each class, as well as spot prizes to celebrate the day. If you have any suitable prizes you would like to donate please speak to Jane in the office, they will be much appreciated. 

There will be a Christmas-themed school disco this term! Look out for more details as we confirm the date and I'm sure our children will be coming out with their dancing shoes on.
