Kumara chips are delish!
Our senior girls showed their talents last week creating kumara chips with the help of Nina (from PiPS).
Nina comes up with great ideas for cooking our vegetables from the school garden.
This week we cooked kale chips and pizza- in the kitchen it was a combination of chefs from Paua and Kina.
It is amazing how just about any vegetable tastes great when it is fried and turned into chips.
We grew a great crop of Kumara this year but not as big a last year - perhaps it's been too wet this season?
