Pipi team are learning about talents and gifts this term.

Kath Joblin —

Our school wide Religious Education focus is on the Holy Spirit and the gifts we are given. This term there will be integrated studies using the Science lens of light and heat as well as The Arts lens of music and movement.

On Monday mornings this term our children in Pipi team will have many opportunities to experiment and discover their musical talents and to participate in dance and movement. Mrs Allen and Mrs James are gifted musicians. They really enjoy opening up the world of music to their students. Mrs Duncan is sharing her love of folk dancing and Mrs Dustin is really enjoying coaching gymnastics with the Pipi children. All the Pipis will have four thirty minute workshops with each of the teachers on Monday mornings and I'm sure that our kinesthetic learners will shine.

The Kinesthetic or tactile learning style requires that you manipulate or touch material to learn. Kinesthetic- tactile techniques are used in combination with visual and /or auditory study techniques, producing multi-sensory learning.
