Last Friday an Amazing Race was held at Mount Drury for Year 5 and 6 students.

Our Year 6 team members were – Jackson, Isaac, Oliver J, Hailey, Antonia and Skye. 

Our Year 5 team members were – Kansas, Emmett, Oliver S, Ryder, Ella and Serena. Serena stepped up from Year 4 to take on the challenge - which was much appreciated. 

Thank you to Liam Robson, Sarah Collett & Tenielle McHugh who accompanied our teams. Tenielle said it was great to be there with other schools as it’s been so long! 

I just want to share some photos of Serena’s dance competition held on the 7th May.

Serena did so well at Impact Dance Experience (regionals). She got 4x first places with High excellence in her Musical Theater and excellence Classical, Jazz & Lyrical… she qualified for Nationals on the 8-12th October Lower Hutt. How wonderful Serena!

Congratulation Liam Gaffney (Year 8 Aquinas) selected for the 2022 Tai Mitchell Representative rugby squad (Tauranga East). The rest of the squad has been chosen from Mount Maunganui Intermediate. Liam and his classmate Thom Finnemore are the only two boys selected who aren't at Mount Intermediate.

Mia Price (Under 16s) and Maggie Glubb (Under 14 reserve) have been selected for Tauranga representative netball squads.

We're very proud of Sam Orsler who competed in Texas, USA, last week at an international Robotics competition. Sam's team were awarded the judge's choice. Sam tutors our children at robotics classes after school.
