We are so fortunate to have Baywave right next door to our place. Every child at our school has the opportunity to build their water confidence and skills with free lessons for a term.

Everyone swims on Wednesday now and it is so good to see the progress being made. One of the dangers of living here is not being able to swim. We are fortunate that the government donation we receive covers the cost of ten lessons at Baywave with swimming coaches. This year Baywave was closed in Term 1 for refurbishment and so we were timetabled to swim this term. Next year we can go back to Term 1 swimming which is the ideal time to be practising in pools at home and at the beach.
