We've got an advantage already because our runners are used to the park and so we can psych out the opposition this year! We're selling sausages too if you want to send $2 into Jane before Wednesday.

It was a beautiful sunny day, ideal for a day in the park. Our children did so well on Tuesday, running with determination and lots of smiles. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who came along to support. The cheering made all the difference, I'm sure. A special thank you to the teachers who managed the crowds and kept things moving along so well. Paula Farrell and Richard Webster for being the brains behind the whole organization and Kirsty Muir for being the head chef in the kitchen, supervising hotdog production. Dylan, Nicole, Jennifer and Tom put in the extra effort heating dogs and spreading sauce - a brilliant hospo crew.

Next Wednesday we are selling sausages in bread for $2 from the big gate behind the staffroom. Jane and helpers will be trying to fundraise - a great opportunity with all the visitors who will be here supporting runners from all the Mount schools.
