How talent shines through.

Just goes to show that our little school can achieve at the highest levels - confidence and a belief in oneself is part of our school way.

On Tuesday of this week, we took our highest achieving year 5 and 6 athletics to the Mount Cluster Athletics Day at Gordon Spratt Reserve.

Quinn, Charles, Tully, Serena, Brooke and Abigail competed against the top athletes from Tahatai, Mount Primary, Omanu and Arataki School. A huge thank you to Papamoa Athletics Club, who allowed us to use their gear on the day.

We are proud of all of our students - they showed determination, perseverance and respect. It was great to see them cheering one another on all day.

STM is especially proud of Quinn, who performed incredibly well and will be competing at the WBOP Cluster Athletics on Wednesday 4th December.

Quinn's results:

- 1st Year 6 Boys 60m Sprints

- 1st Year 6 Boys 100m Sprints

- 1st Year 6 Boys Long Jump

- 2nd Year 6 Boys High Jump

Congratulations Quinn! We wish you all the best as you go on to compete in the next round.

Note: Quinn and Abigail went to the Clusters Athletics day representing Mount Cluster. They took a day out of their camp week to participate. Quinn came fifth in the

high jump and sixth in the long jump.
