This year I had the pleasure of joining the JOLG whanau taking over the form class from Mr Gali. It was pleasure getting to know the boys over the year. There are plenty of characters in JOLG.

One of the highlights of the year was our school fair stall. We ran the stall with another form class (MCJC). The boys ran our food stall throughout the afternoon managing to make $100 profit. Stars of the show were Nico and Seb who manned the stall for the entire afternoon and impressed with their bartering skills.

The card game Presidents (Ks & As) became a staple of Monday mentoring’s developing a healthy bit of competition within the form class. The boys also got a few lessons in how to play poker thanks to one of our student’s teacher.

Overall JOLU had a awesome year and I look forward to another one in 2022.
