RIMG Form Class Highlight of the year

As a mentoring group we have quite a variety of different people. Whether it be a champion trampolinist or witty junior we have come together and had a very successful year although we lost one of our Year 13 students early when Sam Entwistle left school to go to CPIT to start a course on Sports Management. Throughout the year we have had many successes in the form class. Whether it be a $200 profit from the fair or a successfully run Fifa tournament we have managed to keep it fun and enjoyable for all. Criese quotes “after a very long first period of class, I love coming to form class to just kick back and relax”. This year we have developed our class haora and now have a strong bond.

Fair review - As a form class we decided to team up with RIMA and create the most popular fair activity for people to enjoy. We set up both class rooms as gaming rooms and decided to run Fifa. This turned out to be very successful as we had more than 100 people through the doors. With a ton of baking we also managed to raise more money. We had people running the stalls the whole time and not once did we see any hesitation to participate with some people coming back for more than one go.

As we have had so many highlights as a class, we decided to compile a list of memorable moments from the past year.

Mitchell- “I have enjoyed the College’s basketball programme this year.”

Jack- “The Antarctic Centre trip with year 8 science class was defiantly my highlight.”

Casey- “The history trip to Wellington was a great experience.”

Finn- “I love the rowing programme at school as it has such a great bunch of lads, especially Mangels.”

Jack- “The French trip was the opportunity of a life time.”
