MAWA 2020

MAWA Family —

MAWA  Hello young men,

My name is John Oakman, a year 12 student who will be leading your form class next year as a senior year 13. I am looking forward to meeting you and I would like to introduce you to the MAWA family led by the man himself, Jason Wang... just call him Mr. Wang.

Even though you will not be meeting the year 13s, I still would like to introduce them to you to give you the idea who our leaders of our school are like. Starting from the far left on bottom row, we have Logan. He is an extremely competitive dancer who is exceptionally good to be in fact. He is also known to be good at art and Biology. Logan will be attending Victoria next year for Biology so all the best for him in the future and then there’s Harrison. Starting from the 4th person of the top left row, he was also one of our year 13s for 2020. Harrison is a player in the first XV rugby and described as a ‘hardworking man.’ Harrison will be attending Lincoln University for property and evaluation. So, all the best for him as well and lucky last is a man called Sam. He is a quiet man but he’s kind and smart. Sam will be attending the University of Canterbury for chemistry. All the best to these three Year 13 graduates.

When I first attended St Thomas as a first-year student in 2017, I did not have the facilities nor the education that we have now but I’m happy to say that this school is improving every year in terms of campus’, sports and academics. There is always something that you look forward to everyday at St Thomas which could be seeing your new friends, attending classes that will make you feel at home and involved, or sports competitively or socially. But one trait that makes everyone feel so welcomed is that everyone treats each other as brothers.

Finally, I wish you all the best and looking forward to seeing you guys next year,

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!!

Kind regards, MAWA
