MCJS Mentor Class 2018

Having only joined St Thomas of Canterbury College at the beginning of 2018, it has been a real pleasure to get to know this group of fantastic young men. I could not have asked for a better Mentor group. Right from the first day of the year, they showed themselves to be a friendly, fun and cohesive group. The senior students really stepped up in terms of assisting the new students, making them feel welcome and involving them in their conversations at our daily meetings. It has been great to watch the younger boys thrive and come out of their shells.

MCJS has played their part in the school fair, making a profit on their stall and always contributed to any donation or drive that has been organised by the school. Academically the vast majority of the boys have shown themselves to be diligent competent students who have taken responsibility for their own learning. It has also been great to meet all the parents of the students and to get to know them all in a different light.
