MCRW

MCRW —

MCRW - Farewell Washy!!!

This year has been pretty disrupted and interesting to say the least. In MCRW we had a few changes in only a small amount of time. We spent time remote learning, checking in via teams and catching up via video chats with our friends. After lockdown and a bit of settling in time we unfortunately farewelled Mr. Washington. His sense of humor, banter and passion for football sat well with many of the boys. The “Macca’s” Trips being a great highlight for all of us. We then welcomed Miss Cutbush to what she would describe as a very energetic and warm house group.

This year unfortunately we lose our one and only Yr 13 student – Mykah Lumb. Although the only year 13 to lead the pack, Mykah has done so with ease. He has been a great asset to the group, and we are sad to see him go. Mykah explains his time here by saying…

“STC is a place where I made lifelong friendships, a place where I could be myself without being judged. Students and teachers got on, they were always able to have a laugh and have banter in and out of the classroom.”

I am sure we can all agree MCRW won’t be the same without him and we can’t wait to see what he can achieve outside of school.

Bring on 2021 with the boys.
