Year 10 Camp

Robbie Lange —

November saw the entire Year 10 group spent four days battling the elements in the Boyle River area near Lewis Pass. The boys faced freezing temperatures, massive rainfall and many physical challenges including a night on their own with only a tarpaulin to build a shelter. For the entire time the boys were outside with no flush toilets, no showers and no cellphones. Hats off to the lads for the resilience they showed with no complaints despite the challenging conditions they faced.

The camp is the climax of our Rite Journey programme which runs as a year long course as part of our PE and Health course. Throughout the year the boys face smaller challenges and discuss topical issues related to becoming a man.
