District Commander's Commendation for Justice
On Tuesday this week we were honoured to receive the District Commander's Commendation for Justice. This achievement represents our ongoing journey to enhance education through the Gospel messages of love, hope and relationship building.
Restorative Justice is an authentic lens to Christ's mission for social justice and transforming people to be their greatest version of themselves. Tuesdays formal commendation comes from an ongoing relationship with the New Zealand Police through Senior Constable Bruce Ward who was an RJ pioneer with us back when Mrs Christine O'Neill was principal.
Today, all staff work towards providing dignity and hope to our young men through Restorative Justice. Today's ceremony was led by Canterbury District Commander Superintendent John Price, proud STC old boy and Restorative Justice advocate.
