Year 9 STEM

For the first 4 weeks of Term 4, 9MC was tasked in STEM to create a scale model of the STEM Building. They did this by physically measuring the stem building’s dimensions using tape measures, rulers, clinometers and trigonometry! Once they had all the necessary information they had to draw a scale diagram of the building using a scale factor that they determined. Then they had to transform that diagram into a model using cardboard, paper, tape and glue.

Photographed are some of the models that the boys produced.
