JOMT - Report

Joshua Vaifale —

JOMT

2018 promised a lot and JOMT started the year well with a form class of good men. We welcomed in at Year 7, future Black caps player Thomas Bird, Raymond Logopati from Cathedral College and the return and final year of our Year 13 students Ben Ruffles, Josh Vaifale and Gunner Kyle Dandoy.

The form class has some outstanding athletes who have represented STC with distinction. First X1 Goal Keeper Lachie Doyle, First 15 no 7 and outstanding player the Colleges Pasifica Leader in Joshua Vaifale, champion motor cross rider Bradley Hamburger and First 5 basketballer Ben Ruffles. Also playing sport with distinction, Nathan Chapman, Lakyn Halliday, Ollie Pratt.

As you can see, our form class has contributed a lot to STC in 2018 with many of our guys participating in a number of cultural, sporting and academic achievements through-out the Year. Sadly, Ben went out into the work force and Sam Bradford to ARA for 2019. Josh Brand enjoyed a trip to Indonesia, while I got to Auckland to play for STC in the Condor 7’s finals. Thanks to Mr. T for his help and I wish the boy’s a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year and Chappie and Josh Brand to carry on the Leadership roles for JOMT in 2019.

Joshua Vaifale.
