St Thomas Softball

It’s been a great year for St Thomas Softball. Our year 7&8 softball team won the Canterbury schools title for the first time, beating Kirkwood 6-0 in the final.

Our Senior boys team took a step up from finalists in Division 2 in 2018, to a 3rd equal finish at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Softball division 1Tournament. It was a tough tournament, where with a little bit of luck, we could’ve finished higher, and this was best illustrated by our win Against eventual champions Mt Albert Grammar.

Several students achieved National honours including Caleb Stewart, Fletcher Due, Connor Stanley and Ben Forbes

Ryder Due, Brody Helem, Kamaioha Perenara-O'Connell, Brody Helem, Liam Ruki, Fletcher Due, Ollie Wright and Te Ahu Wall were all selected for Canterbury Representative teams.

We look forward to further success in 2020!
