Hi, my name is Lynley Gibson, and I am the face behind the emails, newsletters and Facebook posts you receive from STC.

I have been the office manager at STC for almost four years, and have recently taken on the additional role of the Old Boys Network Coordinator.

I am very excited at the prospect of growing our Legacy Network database, and therefore providing the opportunity for even more past associates to reconnect. Working alongside some of our Old Boys at STC, I have seen first hand the pride that each and every one of them has as they look back fondly on their STC school days. I can only imagine the pride and passion that exists out there amongst you all, and that ignites my enthusiasm to help to bring you all together again.

I love contact with people of all ages, and absolutely love my role on the front desk at STC. One of my favourite things about my job is the interaction I have with the students every day, and I consider it a privilege to get to know them all, and have a laugh with them each day….as you can imagine, there’s never a dull moment!

I believe the school office should be a safe, supportive place for all students, so always do my best to provide a welcome environment.

Outside of work, I am mum to three kids (although they’re not so little anymore!) – Jack, my eldest, is 22 years old, my daughter, Quinn is 19, and my youngest son, Noah, is coming up 14 years old.

I love the gym, and try to get there 4-5 times a week. I go to the fitness centre, but also enjoy classes such as crosstrain and pump. I also love a good hill walk, so am very grateful to live close to the Port Hills. I also enjoy reading, movies and spending time with friends and family.
