On Sunday September 14th, 2025 Kickstart your Motorcycle Journey – Bike and Licence Expo, will be held at the Airforce Museum in Wigram. 

The focus for the expo is on engaging with people about Ride Forever (ACC’s motorcycle injury prevention program) and attracting those who are new to riding or may have been on their learners or restricted for some time and would like to progress towards their full licence. However, anyone is welcome and it’s FREE to attend.

We’ll also be running seminars on the following topics throughout the day:

• The quickest way to get your motorcycle licence

• Lanes, lane splitting and filtering like a pro

• Road positioning like a king or queen

Kickstart is brought to you by Christchurch City Council, Waimakariri District Council, Selwyn District Council, Hurunui District Council, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi and Ride Forever.
