The Calling Ceremony.

The ‘Calling’ ceremony is an invitation to participate in the program. It is also a chance for parents or caregivers and their participating children to share and express their gratitude for a fulfilling, exciting and meaningful childhood experience. It is the point where they are ‘Called’ by their teachers to participate in the Programme and take the first steps into becoming a Young Adult. The calling took part at sugar loaf on the port hills.

For the ‘Departure’ ceremony, the parents and students shared breakfast and the parents talked about memories from their childhood, while the boys handed over a letter of gratitude. Tears, laughter and hugs were a common theme for the morning.
