The year of our Lord 2022 has certainly been an eventful one, but whatever has come our way, the lads of MAKL have remained constant and united. Our ranks grew significantly with the welcome arrival of Jeno “the Maths wizz” Chae, Kenny “the undisputed champion” Lafituanai, Lachlan “the eager rookie” Penrose, and Luke “the thoughtful” Rolston. There were a few visits for $2 rice feeds along with the classic fry ups throughout the year. 

Our school fair stall selling deep fried hot dogs was a hit and enabled Mr Lafdal in getting a mullet which he rocked with pride. Our kete reflecting on our progress have also grown along with the size of our hands.

With sorrow, yet with pride, we bid a fond farewell to some of our brothers. Jack Brophy who has served as Marlow house leader and is off to serve his country, Tanielu Leo’o whose cheeky grin and friendliness will be sorely missed, and the errant Charlie Dixon, Seth Hill, and Connor Stanley. Go well men.

2023 awaits us and we look forward to writing another chapter together.
