- The press Trophy (this was the first time that the school had won this award)
- He was a Zonta awards finalist
- Last year he was selected to referee the U17 National girls grand final (this puts him in the top 4 referees in the country for this age group)
- This year he was selected to referee the U19 Men's national grand final (this puts him in the top 2 referees in the country for this age group)
- Early this year he attended the World Masters games where he was selected to referee the men's 35+ gold medal match (the youngest age group at the tournament) putting Brad in the top 2 referee's for the whole tournament (this included international referees)
- Most recently Brad was selected and travelled to Perth to represent New Zealand at the U16 Australian National Championship.
- Brad has also been appointed to WBC games this year (Women's National League).
