Early in February the rowing squad travelled down to Twizel to compete in the South Island Club regatta. The boys competed in singles, double and quad events, with our most notable result coming in the under 19 men’s club double, involving Johvaan Renata and Josh Dent.

After qualifying for the final on Saturday with the fastest time (by one second, to two other crews), the boys came through for third in Sunday’s final, narrowly getting pipped for 2nd place by Otago Boys'. This was a great result for the boys as they work towards preparing for Maadi Cup coming up at the end of March.
