The Year 13 Physical Education class in Hanmer Springs

The Year 13 Physical Education class departed on their annual camp to Hanmer Springs on the 7th of September. The camp focuses on risk management strategies in the outdoors and how these can be foreseen. The weather played its part perfectly with 5cm of snow in the village for the boys to contend with. Mountain biking, orienteering and a dip in the pools were highlights of the trip! 2017 will look to see the camp head south to Mt Cook and Tekapo in the colder months of winter. In doing so they will look at Alpine safety and water safety on our southern lakes.

The year 13 PE group of 2016 has been a fun and entertaining class who related really well with each other. Great times were had and it was a pleasure to teach these boys.
