Joyce House - Third at swimming

Joyce House Swimming Reflection.

Joyce house started off the day strong winning the house chant competition for most original and loudest chant, and held the first-place position at a lead at least 80 points ahead of the next house to start the day.

I think participation was the best we have had in years, 90% of the house jumping in the pool whether it be to swim or simply grab an extra house point. Throughout the day, Joyce wrestled Rice House back and forth for first position with the lead changing continuously while the other houses, Marlow and Mc’Clintock were well behind us.

Despite all this Joyce house came third overall only losing in the relay and final races where Marlow dominated. If I had to describe the energy, passion and commitment Joyce House showed on that day I would only use four words. The, Red, Raging, bull. Captain out.
