RIHB

RIHB – 2023

This year had a great group of men come together as RIHB and take on the challenges that school life has. Monty and Caleb leaving us to go into the Year 13 mentoring system was a shame but we welcomed in Cairo and Taimana to Year 9, James who swapped classes to join us at Year 10 and Arona who arrived at Year 11 to STC.

The boys continued to enjoy Milo’s on a Monday and enjoyed connecting outside or in physical activities like walks which always worked a treat and suited our communication styles. The boys continued to succeed across a variety of areas both in and out of the class, but a highlight was the boys who stood up during Special Character Week to help lead from the front.

With the help of chat GPT we wrote some words for each member.

Orlando's smart mullet hairstyle perfectly complemented his unique style, we miss it, while his ear ring adds a touch of edgy flair.

Connor, the talented drummer, enjoys bonding with his friends over their shared love for movies.

Tomairangi’s headphones are the perfect choice for someone who enjoys kicking back, whether to chill with soothing tunes or prepare for a tough, sometimes even scary, kickboxing session.

Arona, the newcomer to the school, quickly became a leading figure with her distinctive hair tie, effortlessly switching between singing in the choir and dominating on the rugby field.

Henry's hyper and chatty personality can sometimes be a bit annoying, but his enthusiasm is undeniably infectious.

Uliano is the embodiment of "loud social," and there's only one Uliano who can make their presence heard like no one else.

Hunter may be quiet, but on the ju-jitsu mat, he's a formidable force, and at STC, he's known as the plank champion.

Ben's boundless energy, devotion to his prayers, and a charismatic aura make him stand out with "the look" that draws people in.

Taimana, known for his distinctive rats tail and his talent in kapahaka, is not only a league/rugby enthusiast but also the funny guy of the group.

Cairo, the newcomer to the school, may be quiet, but he's also the funny guy, and when he's not cracking jokes, you can find him excelling with the Keas, showcasing his deep love for sports.

James is a legend both on and off the field, with his incredible strength and cool demeanor, whether he's dominating in cricket or excelling in rugby.

Tinipati, the leader of the pack, is known for his love of Milo, his infectious humor, and his big talk both on and off the rugby field.

Caleb, despite not being his brother, shares a passion for sports, but sometimes his enthusiasm can be a bit annoying.

Sean is incredibly quiet, so much so that he doesn’t even show on Fridays, he keeps to himself, while his Filipino heritage adds an intriguing layer to his enigmatic persona.

Alex, who's leaving us soon, currently works at the petrol station and has earned the title of the "big dog" in our class, with his larger-than-life personality.
