Jordan Riki (Class of 2017) Visits STC

Andrew Auimatagi —

Our kura welcomed back former 1st XIII co-captain and STC Old Boy (Class of 2017) Jordan Riki in to meet with some of our senior sportsmen. Jordan made his NRL debut back in round 14 2020 and his impressive performance earned him a regular position in the first grade lineup in 2021. Jordan has represented the Māori All Stars twice and made 45 appearances for the Brisbane Broncos scoring 8 tries.

It was great to have Jordan in to share valuable insight and detail into his professional sport journey and challenges along the way, also allowing our students to ask questions. Jordan also gifted two of his Broncos playing jerseys to the college which will be proudly displayed in the Waterford High Performance Centre on our honours wall. On behalf of the college I would like to thank Jordan for these special taonga that will inspire students who will follow in your footsteps.

Our STC community is very proud of Jordan's achievements both on and off the field and we wish him all the best for the upcoming Kiwis World Cup Squad selection.
