Day 1 check-in and some key messages

Hamish Barclay —

Kia ora koutou

We hope that the first full day of online learning went well. Students should have connected with their mentor teacher and organised learning for the week ahead via the calendar on Teams. As previously mentioned, it is important to look after our hauora at this time and make sure we balance our life, as lockdown impacts us all in different ways.

Some key messages for the students and community this week:

  • Bi-weeklies
These will not be published this week. Due to the change in situation and our mechanism for communication during Level 4, we will hold off publishing at this stage. A reminder to contact your son’s mentor teacher if you have any questions.

  • School Ball
This was set to happen this Saturday but has been postponed. A new date has been booked for Term 4.

  • 2022 student leadership applications
These will be sent via email on Wednesday for current Year 12 students looking to apply for a position next year.
