Nau mai, haere mai, talofa lava, malo e lelei, bula vinaka, kia orana, warm greetings

Steve Hart —

It is hard to believe we have arrived at the end of week 4 term 4. Today we started our senior exams - it has been great to see our students working so hard towards achieving their academic goals, while our senior students finished last week we have seen a large number of students receiving extra tutoring from our staff, well done to all.

Included in this newsletter you will see a number of images from our prizegiving, including the naming of our student leaders for 2020. It was a fantastic occasion especially returning to the Town Hall for the first time since 2010. I have included my prizegiving speech for those who were unable to attend.

Next week our Year 10 students will depart for Boyle River to participate in the major Rite of Passage as part of the Year 10 Rite Journey. We wish staff and students the best in what will be a fantastic experience.

Earlier this week we farewelled our students heading to Yale University to participate in the Global Finals of the World Scholars Cup. What a fantastic achievement by these young men, and their parents, for undertaking a massive fundraising effort.
