Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Your sons have recently started to LOGON to NZQA.

Could you please ask them if they have completed this. If they haven’t, do the following:

NZQA LOGON PROCESS:

· To create an account, a student needs their NSN, date of birth, an email address and a 7-character password.

· Students can find their NSN on EDGE.

· Here is also a short video to assist students with creating a new account:

CO-REQUISITES – Reading, Writing and Numeracy.

Your son should see these entries on their EDGE portal.

32403.2 Read written texts to understand ideas and information.

32405.3 Write texts to communicate ideas and information.

32406.3 Use mathematics and statistics to meet the numeracy demands of a range of situations.

Your next move – DO NOT WORRY

· Staff in Maths and English classes have been prepping your son for these set of exams.

· Thursday 21st of May – Thursday 30th of May the exams will take place in our school hall.

· The exams will be digital. This means students will access exams via their laptops.

· Students can access “Practice Exams” via their NZQA Login under the “Past Exam Papers”.
