Chinese Department 2020

It’s been a wonderful year of learning inside and outside the classroom this year.

The Year 9 classes had a go at calligraphy and kung fu. The Year 10s experienced a very interesting tea ceremony at Teaseme Church Corner. Our senior Chinese students got to make and eat plenty of dumplings and also went along to the Chinese open day at University of Canterbury. All students of Chinese (year 10 and up) went along to our amazing annual Chinese banquet at Daphne’s Church Corner.
