The senior formal was a huge success on Saturday evening at the Wigram Air Base. After months of phone calls, quotes and tireless organizing by a few of the senior leaders, the night came together without a glitch.

Decked out in a royal blue theme, the venue looked incredible, as did the senior students attending, in their formal attire with girls on their arms looking stunning in their dresses. The band was a hit with all and everyone danced into the night. During the night an emotional and heart felt dance was had when the “mother and son” dance song came on and great feedback was received from many happy mums about being able to share that special moment with their sons.

The senior boys performed the school haka, and this was a powerful moment for all seniors leaving the school in the coming months and a great show for the parents and girls attending too. A video of this can be seen later in this article.

Overall it was a great night had by all and I would like to say a huge thank you to William Beattie and Reuben Jeffery Butler for help organise this event. It was a great experience and I enjoyed working alongside of you boys.
