OUR STC SPORTING STAFF
Early in the year we celebrated our sporting achievement and so also focused on the line-up of sporting experience and talent in our teaching staff. It is fairly astounding, deliberately recruited.
With 620 students on our roll, we are no longer a small school. "Small school" thinking and terminology needs to be eliminated from our lexicon. We have abundant talent in the student body. We have abundant talent on our staff. We have a wonderful new sports centre being constructed this year. We have over 90% student participation in sport and over 70% of our staff coaching.
How fortunate are we as a school? With this overview nothing less than excellence and full participation should be our focus.
Having set out to create and invest in this environment for our boys in the school, we expect that if you come to this school and are a member of this community, you play for this school in the codes we offer (which is substantial). A critical part of team ethos is belonging and contributing, so we look forward to all our student sportsmen playing for St Thomas'
