2nd XV Report

The second XV made a strong to the season, with a number of our boys participating in pre-season training with the first XV coaches. It was clear after our trial game that we would have a strong squad, and after grading games we were placed in U18 division 1 along with five other teams.

We battled through the first round finishing in 5th position. Approaching the second round we set a goal to make the semis, something we knew would be tough against some quality sides. The boys fought hard and managed to secure a top four finish, with the highlight being a come from behind win over St Bedes who had beaten us comfortably earlier in the year. Unfortunately we could not progress past the semi final, finishing in 4th spot.

It was a real pleasure coaching these boys this year, they should all be proud of what we achieved. I wish them all the best next season.
